01Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 【LEGAL ENTITY NAME】 ("PlumbLine," "we," "us") for the PlumbLine Project Tracker app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02The Service
PlumbLine Project Tracker helps you plan and track residential construction jobs: tasks, dates, target-completion forecasts, PDF reports, and an optional comparison against daily logs you import. The Service is provided to help you organize your work; it does not manage the work itself.
03Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Account creation is available in the iOS app; the web version is sign-in only. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
04Your content stays yours
The jobs, tasks, notes, and other data you put into PlumbLine belong to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and sync that data so the Service can work — for example, saving it to your private cloud record so it appears on your other devices. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
05Acceptable use
Please use the Service lawfully. Do not attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to store unlawful content.
06Forecasts and comparisons are estimates
PlumbLine’s target-date forecast and its daily-log comparison are estimates and spot checks for general consistency — not exact records, guarantees, or professional advice. The daily logs themselves are the accurate record of what happened on site. You are responsible for your own scheduling, contractual, and jobsite decisions; do not rely on a PlumbLine forecast as the sole basis for a commitment.
07Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service. We aim to keep the app working offline for field use, but sync and account features depend on internet access and third-party providers, and may occasionally be unavailable.
08Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that forecasts will match actual outcomes.
09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlumbLine will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or project delays or costs, arising out of your use of the Service. Keep your own backups of important data — the app can export a full backup at any time.
10Apple App Store
If you use the iOS app, you also acknowledge the following, which Apple requires:
- These Terms are between you and PlumbLine only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- Your license to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as described in the App Store Terms of Service.
- PlumbLine — not Apple — is solely responsible for the app, for any support and maintenance, and for addressing any claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal, or intellectual-property claims).
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
PlumbLine does not currently offer paid subscriptions. If subscription plans are introduced, additional terms covering billing, renewal, and cancellation will be added here before they take effect.
11Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of 【GOVERNING-LAW STATE】, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
12Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
